Information on track 10: restored from "The Very Best Of Mick Jagger"
Recorded late December 1973 at The Record Plant, Los Angeles. Producer: John Lennon.
The band: John Lennon (guitar)/Jesse Ed Davis (gtr)/Danny Kortchmar (gtr)/Al Kooper (kbd)/Jim Keltner (drums)/Bobby Keys (sax)/Trevor Lawrence (sax)/Jack Bruce (bass)/Bruce Gary (dr)/Mike Finnegan (kbd)/Wolfgang Metz (bass)/Rocky Djubano (perc)/Harry Nilsson & some unidentified girls (bvoc)

The recording as presented on the CD was all treble in one channel, all bass in the other. Each was re-equalized separately, and the result is a great deal more listenable. It is still unclear whether this is a stereo recording, or whether it just sounds that way because of the different EQ characteristics in each channel. It could not be fully phase corrected due to having been dubbed multiple times before it made it to this CD.

Here are some observations by Gonzalo (aka gonzalo76), the original poster at HungerCity
on September 1, 2008:

Info from Nico Zentgraf (http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/tcw/works1.htm),
not from the back cover of the CD, which by the way, is not 100% accurate:

1. Tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 15 were not recorded at Musicland Studios, Munich, April 1974
like the back cover says - see discographical information at: http://www.stonesvikingrob.com/bootleg/i/its_only_goats_head_soup.htm and
http://www.bootlegarchive.com/media_description.asp?MediaID=37430

2. In April 1974, the Stones were in England (Newbury & London), not in Munich.

3. The Stones were in Munich in January (14th - 28th) recording early versions and primitive takes of Dance Little Sister, Drift Away, If You Really Want To Be My Friend, Living In The Heart Of Love, Luxury, 'Til The Next Goodbye, Time Waits For No One and Labour Swing, but I don't think any of the CD tracks are early versions or primitive takes.

4. The Stones were again in Munich in December (7th - 15th)(without Mick Taylor), but they did not play any of the tracks from this CD. In fact, they played Act Together, Cherry Oh Baby, Fool To Cry and I Got A Letter.

4. Tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 15 were recorded at Stargroves (Mick Jagger’s house),
Newbury, England, on the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio (1974, April 10th - 15th) and Island Studios, London (May 20th - 25th, 1974)

Note: Mick Taylor officially left The Rolling Stones on December 12, 1974.
You will hear some noise reduction artifacts that were left behind by the people at Mighty Diamond.

Artwork is included.

Please preserve the lossless quality of this material.

Thank you to Gonzalo.
