Presented here is a needledrop of the very rare New Zealand issue of "Beatles VI", pressed from UK Export plates.
This LP was issued in New Zealand in 1966 on the strength of the new "Bad Boy" track. It did not sell well as it duplicated tracks previously released. Some sources suggest that less than 3,000 copies of "Beatles VI" were sold over its entire existance!
This 1977 reissue is in great condition. You won't hear any surface noise which is more an indication of the usual top quality NZ vinyl than anything else.
The cover looks very aged. That's just how the 1977 reissue cover looked.
When this album was issued the labels titled it as "Beatles IV". This error was never corrected. The label also uses the UK spelling of "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" rather then the US spelling that's on the cover.
