Cool Sonics Series CSS-055 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! I think mine came from well-known Hendrix collector & music aficionado, Mr.Brody. ::: Corrections welcome ::: I have always enjoyed this recording very much. One of my musical heroes in a comfortable recording studio set-up, talking & playing acoustic folk and blues. I would give a lot to hear some more of this guy from the early 70s. Rhino gave us some nice bonus tracks on their Baldry set, but there must be some more somewhere... Someone uploaded the amazing Seattle half hour from 1972. That recording served to confirm & re-enforce the incredible memories I have of seeing him at Charlotte Memorial Stadium in the early 70s. The man more than filled the place with charisma & it was totally rockin'. Anyway, he is more than candid about the music industry, talks about a lot of his famous friends & has a fine manner about him while talking and playing. He name drops, but why wouldn't he, he had every right.
More recordings on the way. Until recently I had very slow internet access & am fixing my ratio as fast as I can, now that I am able. Enjoy, share, give, spread peace.
