McCartney (Optimal Source Series)
Gee, can it BE much easier than this? So much for the 1993 "remasters" known as the "Paul McCartney Collection". There may be some hope for those in later albums (like London town), but for the early albums those CDs are just attrocious. Apparently, tape hiss was some sort of plague to them...and noise reduction was Pennicilyn. At least it was nice of Capitol to not only correctly remaster Paul's songs on Wingspan, but to issue nearly half the McCartney record on it. Perhaps it was an apology to all those poor souls that wasted their money on the 1993 remaster. Of course, don't ask them for their money back. I'm also sure Steve Hoffman could have achieved a sound as-good-as or better than Wingspan had he had the equipment they used to remaster that record.
Alright, so, this album consists completely of all the McCartney songs from Wingspan with the DCC source filling in the rest. Pretty simple.
