Having previously made on July 18 a version of Till There Was You, the Beatles did a remake of the song. An additional five takes were made on this day, starting with Take 4. On this track, Ringo tapped the beat on bongos rather than his drum kit. Take 8 was considered best. This is the only song on With The Beatles with no overdubs.

This cover of the Chuck Berry song was recorded in five takes, with Take 5 being considered best. An additional three takes were recorded, adding the guitar solo, handclaps, and a second lead vocal by George. Take 5 was then mixed down with the Take 7 overdub and the Take 8 edit piece of the entire group playing the end guitar riff.

Taking their earlier recorded Take 7 track, the Beatles recorded Takes 11-17 (John's second lead vocal) and edit pieces 18-23, from which Take 17 with the Take 21 edit were considered "best".

Written "as a poem" during the Roy Orbison tour, this track was completed in 13 takes (numbered 1-14, though there was no Take 5). Takes 12-14 were overdubs of Paul's second harmony vocal on the final verse. The master version is a remix of the overdub Take 14 onto Take 11.

Unedited 29 October Stereo remix version from Take 14. This mix appears to be taken from Take 17 without any edits. This uncut stereo mix was sent to Odeon, EMI's West German affiliate in 1965, and appeared on the German LP Beatles Greatest.

Recording back to back editions of their popular show on the same day for the BBC radio, this edition was broadcast on Tuesday 27 August 1963. The Beatles' guests were Cyril Davie's Rhythm & Blues All-Stars featuring Long John Baldry, and Brian Poole and the Tremeloes. There was no audience in the taping of these performances. Cover versions of Ooh! My Soul hit by Little Richard and Don't Ever Change by The Crickets were sung by The Beatles. She Loves you is only available as a fragment. Also taped this day but never aired were Lucille and Baby It's You.

Recording of the 12th edition of the Pop Go The Beatles on the same day as edition 11, this program was broadcast on the BBC radio Light Programme on 3 September 1963. Most of the Beatles chat is missing from circulating tapes. This is the first radio performance of John singing the Carl Perkins classic Honey Don't, which was later Ringo's featured song.

While in Bournemouth, The Beatles were interviewed by Klas Burling, a Swedish radio producer and host. Likely recorded between The Beatles' two performances that day, the interview was conducted while they ate dinner. This version is unedited and complete. It was included as a disc with the Swedish book YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! - The Beatles erövrar Sverige [Translated: The Beatles Conquer Sweden] By Börje Lundberg and Ammi Bohm.

Under the weather while in Bournemouth, George used a portable tape recorder to capture ideas for the new song he was composing. Harmonizing to his guitar with hums and whistling, George practices chords for Don't Bother Me.
