This was the first CD of Nagra tapes from "Get Back" film sessions at Twickenham and Apple studio. It could be conisdered a sampler, as most of this material has surfaced in more complete form in the years since. The tapes here are chopped up and rearranged in no particular order, with sections edited out or omitted entirely.
When it was new, though, it blew us away with the quality of the recordings and the previously unheard music and dialogue. The recordings were made on a mono Nagra machine at 7.5 IPS, and the renditions on this CD are not far away from the first generation.
