Eleven of the tracks on this 'compilation' were shortlisted for "RARESTONEBOWIE" (DMQ) released in 1995. They include a rare rehearsal version of "I Got You Babe" from the 1980 Floor Show, "Heroes" and "What In The World" from Bowie's last night at Earls Court in 1978, and of course the full unedited 'flute mix' of Fame.

The remaining five tracks have been taken from a rare 10 track 'in-house' reference CD-R which features some of the most sought after outtakes from the 1970-72 period of Bowie's musical career. These songs were remixed and mastered in the mid-1990's and were originally to be used in the planned anthology box set, which never happened.
