Lineage My Silver Disc > Wav (Cdex) > Flac (Flacfrontend) > Here

Ok here's another silver disc I own.

A strange one this as no one really knows where this was recorded. Bassman lists this gig as 1974: 00.00 WHERE?, VENUE?
One school of thought thinks that this recording is from Boston on the 16th July 1974, but I'll stick with
it's from an unknown show from the Summer 1974 North American Tour.

Bassman also goes on to say that all versions of this are ultimately from the original 1976/77 release.

My silver is definately from a Vinyl source as your can clearly hear some crackles and pops.

This boot is a bit of nostalgia for me as this was one of the first boots I ever bought.

I paid the price of a couple of pints of ale for a tape copy of the vinyl from a friend of a friend in the pub.

I seem to remember buying two or three tapes from him this and definatly "Dollars In Drag", "David Bowie In America" and "Live 74" (which has survived
and which I still have).

Now unfortunately that original tape has long gone as the first car I owned in the mid 70's an Austin Wolsley
with twin carbs had a really dodgy tape recorder in it and a good deal of my tapes were chewed by it.

Spin forward 25 years or so I spotted this at a open market in Halifax and bought it along with an ACDC boot of a gig
I'd been to of theirs in Manchester.

Now with all the quality of recording availables from this era it has made this a little bit redundant.

I still play it from time to time it reminds me of that glorious summer of 1976 in the UK
when I was 19 still living at home without a care in the world.

Not essential but still rather nice with very nice sound.

Enjoy
