Notes

1968-09-06 London, The Roundhouse (2nd set)
low gen AUD speed corrected & master SBD spliced combined & retracked
lineage low gen AUD speed corrected: "The Roundhouse - The first night" CD > SHN > FLAC > retracked > WAV > speed corrected > FLAC
lineage master SBD spliced: “The Doors: The Doors are open” DVD > VOB > torrent > DVD shrink (menus removed) > DVD audio extractor (stereo)

Notes:
The low gen AUD is taken from Buda's European box set, seeded at The Traders Den.
The master SBD spliced is taken from “The Doors: The Doors are open” DVD torrent from the internet.
Programs used: Audacity and Total audio converter.
While listening carefully to the different versions of “When the music's over” on the Roundhouse blues bootleg, I decided that they are all taken from the official DVD “The Doors are open”. The best evidence for this is in the fact that there is a silence between “we want the world and we want it” and “now”.
This silence is because of a cut in the original version where there is commentary overdubbed. With this information I decided that although the quality on “Roundhouse blues disc 1” is a little bit better then the official DVD, they are edited versions. So I used the official DVD to upgrade the sound.
I deleted the “Roundhouse blues” sources.
I used the speed corrected low gen AUD as base.
I took “House announcer” from the low gen AUD.
For “Five to one” I used the SM SBD and completed it with the beginning and ending of the low gen AUD.
I took “Break on through (to the other side)” from the low gen AUD.
I removed all the spliced commentary on the SM SBD of “When the music’s over” and aligned it with the low gen AUD. Because the SM SBD has a lot of spliced commentary in the beginning, I used the first 3 minutes of the low gen AUD. The rest of the song is mostly SM SBD. At three points I had to use the low gen AUD again to fill the gaps where there was spliced commentary on the SM SBD.
I took “Alabama song (Whisky bar)” from the low gen AUD.
On the SM SBD “Back door man” has a cut around 1:15. I filled this gap with the low gen AUD. It's about 33 seconds. I also took about 15 seconds from the end of the low gen AUD.
On “Spanish caravan” I added around 8 seconds from the end of the low gen AUD to the SM SBD.
I took “Love me two times” from the low gen AUD.
“Wake up” wasn't on the low gen AUD, but it was on the SM SBD. It fit seamlessly with “Light my fire” so I assumed it was part of this show and added it to the track list. To do so, I merged “Wake up” and “Light my fire” because there was a little bit of “Wake up” on “Light my fire”. Then I cut the interview at the beginning and all of “Light my fire”.
“Light my fire” was hard to combine because the low gen AUD seems to have changing speeds. Because of this, I was unable to determine if there is or isn't a cut in de SM SBD. Because of the speed problems, I used the SM SBD. I removed about 0,4 seconds from the beginning, about 10 seconds of chatter from the end and added about 10 seconds from the low gen AUD to make the ending of the song less abrupt.
At 2:45 of the SM SBD of “The unknown soldier” there was a commentary spliced. I replaced this part with the low gen AUD.
I took “Soul kitchen” from the low gen AUD.
I took “A little game” from the low gen AUD.
I took “The hill dwellers” from the low gen AUD.
I took “Not to touch the earth” from the low gen AUD.
The two versions of “Hello, I love you” are different. On the SM SBD Ray is on vocals, on the low gen AUD Jim is on vocals. I used the low gen AUD for this track list. The other version is probably from the 1st set.
I took “Moonlight drive / Horse latitudes (medley)” form the low gen AUD.
I took “Money” from the low gen AUD.
