Total Time ::: 1:16:02

::: VERY fine AUD in small club (with some overload in this show only). Check samples for petri dish exams or brief aural Harum spurts.
::: Warts: Some distortion in loud passages where taper must have had levels too hot (this show only). #8 cuts & #9 starts late at tapeflip. Could use a bit of treble push in my opinion. Surely missed some dropouts but tapes were in good shape*.
::: Procol Harum played Early & Late shows at this venue on both 1977-04-08 & 1977-04-09.
::: COMPARISON CLAUSE: Some material from these 4 shows DIMED before as compilations (from 2 diff. tapers) with unknown lineage & unconfirmed setlists. This should sort out most of that & upgrade & complete 3 of the shows from one of the tapers, adding 75 minutes of material in total with the 3 shows.
::: 1977-04-08 Late Show, which I thought I also had from this taper, hasn't surfaced as I write this.

Recording Information ::: unknown stereo cassette recorder & microphone(s) -> master narrow stereo audience cassette -> 1st generation Maxell XLII-S 90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2013-03-20 ::: 1st generation Maxell XLII-S 90 cassette on Nakamichi BX-300 cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth & speed adjusted (pitched!) for individual recording, heads cleaned & demagnatized -> Tascam CD-RW900SL professional CD recorder -> CD-RW, no track splits -> computer -> EAC secure mode (logs made) -> wav file(s) -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, bump, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, further speedfix single pass averaged over recording for fix at -.85% after spectral analysis & with pitchpipe verification, NO equalisation] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. (*Did NOT do my regular complete 10+ hour dropout/dullspot edits on these 3 shows but the tapes were in very good shape. Whatever I missed is easily fixed with cross-channel patching for the most part.). First uploaded week of 2014-07-26.

Line-up ::: Gary Brooker - piano, vocals // Mick Grabham - electric guitar // Pete Solley - Farfisa organ, synthesizer, violin) // Dee Murray - electric bass // B.J. Wilson - drums.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

DimeTravel 044 ::: Thanks to the original taper & trader! ::: Thanks to DIMER EWGSHL for keeping the Procol Harum energy flowing. And thanks to myshadow for appreciation & information - do believe he digs a good Harum & thios should offer him more of these shows than he had before (or FOUND before!). ::: Corrections welcome ::: Always something to delve into with these guys. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
