Notes

Cale solo with piano and acoustic guitar and dressed in black.

first gen audience tape of his triumphant return to london.

Having started his european solo tour to promote "music for a new society" in this sold out concert hall at the end of january, and to rave reviews, Cale was hastily booked for more uk gigs in march after touring mainland europe.

Cale now views this period as a wasted time, because of the drugs and alcohol, strange.. he was
never more popular courting the music press in the uk and europe during this time.

Support act was Atilla the Stockbroker. Cale was reportedly seen chasing him down Buckingham Palace Road with a huge stick after the concert.
