Notes: This is a compilation of all of the singles, A and B sides, that The Beau Brummels
released under the Autumn label in 1965. After Autumn went out of business, it seems that the Vault label picked up the rights to release this material as The Beau Brummels were making their way to the
Warner label.
This album contains 2 extra tracks not listed on the back cover. "I Want You," is the B-side to "You Tell Me Why," and is also on their second album, and "Woman" is from their second album.
A final note about "Laugh Laugh." On cd, the common version is the stereo mix with the cold beginning and end. On this album, you get the stereo mix with the fade-in as well as the fade-out ending.
The sound also blows away the Rhino release, which sounds boxey by comparison. If you like the Beau Brummels, it would be well worth your time to hunt down the original vinyl.
