This album was originally released on CD in 2010. Its an album of Syd Barrett's best Pink Floyd and solo work. It contained some 2010 remixes and original mixes, as well.
In 2012, I went to a Record Store Special Release Day and picked up this double vinyl, 180-gram version of Syd Barrett - An Introduction To Syd Barrett.
It sounds amazing! 60 minutes of music spread over 4 album sides on thick, 180-gram vinyl translates to EXTREME HIGH QUALITY!

Ripping Process:
I took my brand-new, mint double-album and ripped it PROPERLY using a Marantz tt185 turntable, a Soundblaster X-Fi HD USB Soundcard, and Nero Soundtrax 7.
I cut the sides into tracks with Cool Edit Pro 2.1. I declicked each track and that is all. There weren't even any pops to remove! I used Traders Little Helper to convert to flac 6. Then I tagged each flac with album art and info.
All the album art is included. All of the lyrics were printed on the sleeves.
Enjoy this stunning album. It all fits nicely onto one cd-r. Burn gapless. Burn the 24/96 waves - there is no need to dither or downsample to burn to cd-r!
