one of those shows that leaves you so pumped
that despite the 4 hours or so travelling there and back
the adrenalin masks the tired limbs and brain
and you just want to re-live it...
reminded me of a show way back, at the monarch in camden 1995
will, with a young, loud, garage band, rocking the joint
(tonight was a similar small pub gig, capacity 280)
he also turned back the clock to palace days, with superb versions of all gone and riding
then there's the wonderful trembling bells, everything about them just
gets better and better. tonight they added another dimension to the
love - hate duets and inspired covers of the marble downs album
by stripping it down and painting it with a thick layer of psych
was a pleasure to share the experience with mr and mrs rayrad
every time i glanced over, he was grinning like a cheshire cat
that's exactly how i felt.......
