Robin Trower - The Source - is a 1980 Radio Show mastered from pre-FM from the 2LP transcription set. This "Live in Concert" special comes from St. Louis, MO on the "Victims of the Fury" tour. 71min. long and features a firey set loaded up with prime period material from the original Trower band.
This was needle dropped by a fellow trader (from rare original set) some years ago. I (recently) took and edited out commercials and announcer, set proper track marks, and erased a few ticks and clicks. No filtering, or EQ, or any other processing. But still this might not be up to the hipstone standards being that I did not do original drop. But the show itself is a scorcher, I like "Daydream" in particular here,
This has been around the trading circuit for years, but I have not seen a pre-FM source offered before, generally it is from hissy cassettes taped from air, which can still sound good.
