Notes

One of the few jewels in the "Sid and Nancy" turd... This is a great song from the egregious film, reminiscent of the finer moments of the then recently defunct Clash. The song isn't directly about Sid Vicious, but works oblique references (his participation in the Sex Pistols' shambolic 1978 US tour, his incarceration at Rikers Island and his general cluelessness abour life/love) into a vague narrative about outlawry in Mexico. The accompanying video promo was similar, featuring a white man getting into trouble in a spaghetti-western manner before the ghost of Sid appears at the end to set him free... The umlamented Nancy doesn't figure at all!

The tracks on side 2 are utterly inessential - just rip-off alternate mixes so that the record company could gouge fans, by both not including Joe's other song from the film, and releasing non-album b-sides.
