As the story goes, Bun E. Carlos (drummer for Cheap Trick) is a big Elvis Costello fan and he asked Elvis for a copy of one of his shows. Bun dubbed a copy for my friend and my friend dubbed a copy for me. During the 80s, I transferred my cassette to DAT for another friend and that DAT was subsequently used for Great Dane's "I Stand Accused" bootleg release. GD omitted "Lipstick Vogue" presumably because much of the song is missing due to a tape flip near the beginning. Although other complete copies have circulated, I believe this is the 1st time that a complete version from this low generation source has been put into wide circulation.
