Notes

Nick Drake - Time Of No Reply (1986)

Taking up the last of the few remaining recordings that the Fruit Tree box set didn't feature, and all that didn't appear on his three studio albums, 'Time Of No Reply' represents the final chapter in the short history of Nick Drake's musical career. Also featured here is the 'last word': the single mix of 'Magic' which was found at the end of a master tape reel almost by accident in 2005. Although this is a motley collection of cast-offs and left-behinds, it still has more musical honesty than virtually anything on release today. R.I.P. Nick, the music lives on.
