Here is Vol. 8 of the Russian boots that I bought a few years ago. The Stones albums start to become more complete at this point. Six of the tracks on this one were written by the Glimmer Twins. You Better Move On was first released on The Rolling Stones EP. The Singer Not the Song was released as the B-Side of Get Off of My Cloud in the UK. Also, I’m Free was released as the B-Side of Get Off of My Cloud in the US. Route 66 and I’m Moving On were recorded live in March 1965 in England and first released that June on the Got LIVE If You Want It! EP. All of the bonus tracks are from various live gigs, mostly TV shows.
An interesting note: As Tears Go By was written in 1964 and first released by Marianne Faithfull. Did not know that myself.
