An early show of of one of their two November 1978 "farewell" gigs - this seems to be show number three of the four gigs they played at Max's on November 17-18.
Other recordings from these shows were apparently used for the excellent "Heartbreakers Live At Max's" LP (and later, the expanded "Heartbreakers Live At Max's" CD).
Anyone with more information, please comment.
The quality on this is reasonable but here's hoping that better quality tapes of these farewell shows surface here soon (or anything else from 1975-1979, for that matter!)
The band is hot and an animated Thunders is doing his best to make something happen out in the audience.
