Horslips came back.
First in the RTE Studios for a live taping for TG4s Ardan in March 2005
and then in Dingle for a live taping of Other Voices in December 2005.
Other one-off and private gigs followed. Then, in December 2009, Horslips
made a triumphant return to sold-out houses in Belfast's Odyssey Arena and
Dublin's O2 in December 2009. A four city tour of Ireland followed in
December 2010.
The first mention of Horslips we could find is
in the October 16, 1970 issue of Spotlight.
The band was described as "new rock-orientated group" that had come
together to write the music for a commercial and the musical scores
for two documentaries. The photo of the band shows them as a five
piece .
