This is a compilation of Gaye tracks from 1966-1982 that I basically assembled for my own listening pleasure.
I wanted to collect some good tracks (mostly written by Gaye himself) that were not available on the official albums (including Deluxe Editions) from his "later" period, and that included the "best" tracks from these three sources:
- Dream of a Lifetime (posthumous release, 1985)
- Romantically Yours (posthumous release, 1985)
- The Master (box set 1995) - only the unreleased tracks from the 70's
(A couple of other tracks (6 & 11) also happened to find its way in here)
