Nice sounding board tape, although certainly not perfect.

There's no date on the tape, it was around the time of the Instant Excitement EP, which came out in 1984.

The Riff was a weird little club in an industrial area downtown that didn't last very long. Towards the end, when it was running into financial difficulty, there was a big two-day benefit with lots of NC bands playing for free. Then, the club owner packed up, took the benefit money, and left town...
