(20th August 1965: UK radio (BBC) 'Saturday Club') (Broadcast 18th September)
The Rolling Stones had pretty much out-grown doing BBC radio shows, so on 20th August 1965 they taped their final 7 songs which were to be broadcast over two shows in the coming weeks. ‘Oh Baby (We Got A Good Thing Goin’)’ is a storming version that puts the Decca version to shame, & Buster Brown’s ‘Fannie Mae’ is a fine rhythm ‘n’ blues performance of a song they never officially recorded.
