Audience recording of Roxy Music's performance at the Greyhound, Croydon, Surrey, on 19 November 1972. The sound quality is almost, but not completely, atrocious - it's listenable, and the basic sound of the songs comes through ok, but it's distorted and lacking in clarity, and has probably been EQed to get rid of tape hiss along the way, removing most of the treble in the process. A lower generation tape might sound quite respectable. It is of course something to be highly thankful for that such early tapes of the band were even made, let alone that they have survived the years and circulate... A good show and well received.

This is the same as the previous torrent at http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=307474, but the date and venue were wrong - thanks to sww1975 and stepeanut for pointing it out! Amended, but still ordinary-looking, artwork included!

*The wav files, although converted at level 8, came out 1/6 the size, but they convert back to the same wav files and check out with the md5 ok. Bizarre. I've checked them with EAC, and they aren't mp3 sourced.
