6. SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN (11:56m)

8. ECHOES (23:28m) from NJ 1971-06-15 recorder 2

Slight upgrade here. This seems to be a complete copy, it includes small portions
of audience not present on the other versions, but they are a few seconds really.
Sonically i'd be in a doubt between this and the supposed Low generation.... this
copy sounds smoother, less hissier and a nice bass definition, on the contrary,
the low generation sounds harsh, hissier and lack of bass, but there there's a
bit of brightness and definition that we lack here. I'd enjoy more listening here
AD, Careful & Fat Old Sun, but i'd preffer GitC & StC from the other version.

About OotD & AHM, OttD wasnt written till 1971 so it's obvious it's not from this
concert, and AHM shouldnt either since on this date it was performed w/ orchestra
and the recording here doesnt have any trace of the choir & brass section. This 2
tracks are the same performances of the ones labeled as being from Carnegie Hall
1971-11-15. They are an slight upgrade to the common version, slightly better
definition and less harsher also, and a few seconds more of audience before OotD
than the common version.

Also, and as a nice filler of the tape, we have here Echoes from 1975-06-15, and
from an alternate recorder! Sound is not better than the common recorder 1 but
it's decent. This recorder should be complete, so there's more out there. -gbc
