This is one of the all-time great boot CD releases. Passionate performances, great quality sound, a wide selection of songs, and several 'Desire' tracks all combine with a 20 page info and photo booklet to create a must-have CD.
As for the problem areas: The package is released as the Boston Hall show with no mention that half of the material is from Ontario. The two venues are jumbled together a little haphazardly. Albeit good audience recordings, the Toronto shows are just that... audience recordings. For all it's flaws and sound fluctuations ... it still remains as one of my personal favorites. Dylan is talkative, and dead on with the perfectly paced deliveries. It was released in 1996 in an even cleaner quality, and in the proper performance order by Q Records as 'Cowboy Angel Blues'.
