This cd showcases Granicus as a versitile band that can kick it hard and also go to an almost classical piece with "Twilight", "Paradise" will make you think that Ax´l Rose must have heard this album, "Cleveland Ohio" is a great cut that pokes fun at the bands home town, "Nightmare" is a classic as are "Bad Talk", "America" and the rest of the album.

I recommend this to everyone that yearns for "real" rock. Listen to the players and the music and not the production. Although it wasnt produced well the band still manages to shine despite the pristine sound from RCA. Wayne Anderson's guitar work is second to none, Dale Bedford drives the beat with killer bass licks, Al Pinell rounds out the sound with innovative rythym guitar, and Joe Battaglia anchors the whole deal with solid, tasteful drumming. Woody Leffels falsetto to bass register vocals and honest lyrics will remind you of a "raw" Robert Plant in his younger days.
