A few days before the Alice Tully Hall, "Phantom of Rock" performance, this is an audience recording from a much more intimate venue. The music is in-your-face, but Lou's voice is a little far back in the mix. I'd rate this as a B/B+ (Lou sounds loud during parts where the instruments quiet down, like during Wagon Wheel).

It would have been nice if The Tots had tuned up before playing, because they definitely sound flat. Listen to the last 15 seconds of WL/WH and the lead-in to Wagon Wheel...it sounds HORRIBLE!! Oh my god are they out of tune!!!!!!!
