Taken from a first generation cassette that featured a 'rough mix' of
Bowie's soul album "Dancin" recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in Aug 1974.
This is this tape that Bowie was playing to journalists in Sept.'74.

Additional Info:

Returning to Sigma Sound in November '74, Bowie recorded "Win", "Fascination",
and the backing track for "It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City". New vocal
tracks for "Right", "Can You Hear Me" and what was now the album title track
"Somebody Up There Like Me" were also recorded.

The album was mixed in New York in early December '74 before Tony Visconti
took the tapes (the album now called 'One Damn Song') to London for mastering.

In January '75 Bowie booked session time at Electric Ladyland Studios, where
he recorded "Across The Universe" and "Fame".
