A virtually complete recording composited from two sources.

Most of this composite comes from a nicely balanced recording that was used for the "Such a Night" vinyl bootleg (White Knight Records UK23), with another source providing everything after the three minute mark of 'Magic Bus'Ñ-the last part isn't as clear, but it's listenable. Overall, only a few seconds at the start of 'Pinball Wizard' are missing.

The second show at Forest Hills was also a good one, this time in better weather. Townshend has guitar troubles during 'Pure and Easy' (possibly a broken string), and it sounds like he picks up a second one midway through that's out of tune, then ends up with the first again towards the end- The incident later prompts him to say "I don't like guitars, they don't like me." The 'Won't Get Fooled Again' backing tape is started well before the band is ready, then restarted after a few seconds of the keyboard music have already passed, making for a messy beginning; unbelievable scream from Daltrey, nevertheless. After a very loose version of 'Water' in which they get somewhat lost at one point, 'My Generation' again segues quickly into 'Magic Bus', which eventually leads into 'Naked Eye' and a raucous ending culminating in 'Roadrunner'.
