East Orange was recorded in the East Orange, New Jersey home of Bob & Sid Gleason, and is often referred to as the Gleason tape. It was recorded on amateur 1950's equipment, and the quality is far from what one could expect of modern recording processes ... however, it is still quite good, and far better than the vinyl that had been released for years.
