Originally released in 1986 by Core Ltd., 'The Real Case Has Just Begun' has long been a favourite among fans and it's easy to hear why; The Beatles actually sound like they're having fun on these outtakes. Almost all of them are from the Apple Studio Nagra reels, recorded between 24 and 29 January. The LP was later re-issued on CD (from a tape source) by Disque Du Monde, adding tracks 1, 2, 35, 36, and 37 to the original vinyl line-up, but removing the ragged performance of 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)'. This compilation is a combination of the LP and CD track listings.
