1. ELEPHANT TALK*
4. THELA HUN GINJEET*

Recorded live at Stonybrook University, NY, 2/28/82, except for
* recorded live on the Fridays ABC TV show 12/5 (or 4 ?)/81.

The original record was made to look like a promotional copy of Warner Bros. in “Discipline” alike design.

Indisciple Mining Rocks contains stuff from the early 1982 tour from a show at Stony Brook NY and two songs from the Fridays ABC TV show--"Elephant Talk" and "Thela Hun Ginjeet".
What makes this recording exceptional? Here it is:

There are two instrumental pieces from Stonybrook which are prototypes/work in progress. One is the prototype of “The Howler”, the other one wasn´t released. "Turkish Tea" became “The Howler”, the other one was unnamed.

The album concludes with a brief bit of audience-Fripp dialogue: "Louder" (…) "I here the request from this the gentleman to play louder" (…) "I would hm, I make one suggestion if we´re not loud enough so you care to listen more attentively" plus a snippet from a radio interview, on the same topic. Great!

The two songs from ABC TV are great too. “Thela Hun Gijet” is simply breathtaking (IMHO). It´s an abbreviated version (due to the limited song length on TV I guess) and with “live commentary” from Adrian.
