Almanack is a brief overview of Steeleye Span's first three recordings. Classics like "My Johnny Was a Shoemaker" and "Wee Weaver" rest alongside lesser known — but equally impressive — tracks like "The Hills of Greenmore" and the wicked instrumental "Reels: Dowd's Favourite/£10 Float/The Morning Dew." This collection was later released as Time Span, a combined version of Almanack and Individually & Collectively, and as Steeleye Span, which featured the same tracks in a different order.
