This CD accompanies the extremely rare first edition of the book, containing the Swedish translations to Lennon's A Spaniard In The Works. The Swedish title is En Spann Jord I Maskineriet and it is published by Bakhall in Sweden; the ISBN is 91 7742 146 9. Yoko Ono's cooperation for the CD is mentioned on the last page, that also contains a few notes on the CD-tracks: "This book with accompanying CD was published with a contract between Yoko Ono personnally and the independent Swedish bookpublisher Bakhall." Although the non-speech tracks (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) later also got released on Lennon Anthology (except 9), the CD is still quite interesting as in most cases the versions here are longer. See below for the track by track specifications:

01. Compared to Anthology: no spoken intro, different guitar parts (for instance on 0:40, directly after "What's the use of waking"). Different ending, too, as it is sung, instead of the spoken bit on Anthology. The vocal sounds the same.
02. 0:00-0:24 also in book The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon & Yoko Ono page 86 (chapter 14); 0:43-0:57 also in the same book page 85 (chapter 14)
03. Compared to Anthology:
ASITW A
0:00-0:55=0:00-0:55
0:55-1:05 new (line from September Song)
1:05-1:24=0:55-1:14
1:24-3:01 new (several repeats of verse)
3:01-3:24=1:14-1:37
3:24-3:50 new (instrumental)
3:51-4:10=1:37-1:56
fade 1:56-2:12
04.

Thus, this CD has 3 new parts, whereas the fade on Anthology is not included here.

05. Also available on Anthology as Satire 1. Anthology has a slightly longer intro.
06. Also in book The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon & Yoko Ono page 110 (chapter 20)
07. Compared to Anthology:
ASITW A
intro 0:00-0:14
0:00-0:50=0:14-1:04
0:50-1:45 (new, repeat verse and chorus)
1:45-1:54=1:04-1:14 (fade)
1:54-3:13 (instrumental, repeat chorus and verse)

Thus, the intro on Anthology is new. Otherwise this CD has 2 new parts. Lennon repeats the verse in 0:50-1:45 quite similar to the first time (0:00-0:50), so it is difficult to hear which part has been used on Anthology. The second new part is an instrumental part on the piano, and then again singing the chorus and verse a couple of times.

08. Partly also in book The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon & Yoko Ono page 59 (chapter 9)
09. Demo version of the song first released on Menlove Avenue in 1986. This demo was made before the sessions for the Rock 'N' Roll album in 1973.
10. 0:00-0:21 also in book The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon & Yoko Ono page 100 (chapter 17). 0:22 onwards is Yoko Ono with Lennon's Woman playing the background.
11. From an interview that Yoko Ono gave to Elliot Mintz in 1981. It has Lennon's Grow Old With Me playing in the background. Probably the last bit of track 10 is from the same source.
CD label is blank with an illustration of the book on it.
