SS.WHI.23.21.RM1
The Beatles
Found on the mono White Album LP and released in 1980 on the US Rarities LP.
Whoever said Paul McCartney was soft just needs to give this song a listen. While this mono mix has appeared on "Rarities", it appears here for the first time on compact disc. It differs from the stereo version in that the vocals are more pronounced, there is laughter at the beginning and "beeping" sounds throughout, the drumming at the end is different, and there is no fade out and in when in the song ends, and therefore Ringo's "I got blisters on me fingers!" cannot be heard.
22. I'm So Tired (Lennon/McCartney)
Remix
8 Oct 1968
The Beatles
"I'm So Tired" is basically a solo recording completed by Lennon on the evening before his 28th birthday. George and Ringo were not present for these sessions and Paul's contributions were negligible.
23. The Beatles 1968 Christmas Record (Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starkey)
(unidentified)
Nov 1968
The Beatles
This fan club record was pieced together from various recordings made individually by Paul, George, Ringo, and John. The most memorable bit is the guest appearance of Tiny Tim who sings (in his own unique style) "Nowhere Man". Charming.
