Knowing That I’m Losing You / Tangerine
Studio Recording
This is the legendary recording that later became the song Tangerine by Led Zeppelin. It was recorded during the Cumular Limit sessions. By some reason it was never released back in the 60’s. Some years ago this was released on the first print of either the Cumular Limit or Little Games Sessions album. It was then pulled of the shelves hours after it was released in the stores. All remaining albums were then destroyed.
Lyrics:
Knowing That I’m Losing You
How will you spend your time my love
Crying through the clouds above, my love
The tears will fall as rain
We’re falling from a tree
The time it takes to see
The rising of the sun
The time it takes to run
Measuring a summer's day
You’ll only find it slips away, to grey
The hours will bring you pain
(Guitar Solo)
[in the background]
Aaaah, Aaaah, Aaaaah, Aaaah
The hours will bring me pain
We’re falling from a tree
The time it takes to see
The rising of the sun
The time it takes to run
Tangerine
Measuring a summer's day
I only find it slips away to grey
The hours, they bring me pain
Tangerine, tangerine
Living reflections from a dream
I was her love, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between
Thinking how it used to be
Does she still remember times like these
To think of us again
And I do
(Guitar Solo)
Tangerine, tangerine
Living reflections from a dream
I was her love, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between
