Shaun's Notes:
This is a collection of tracks that I have recently rediscovered up here in the attic. They were spread across a few CDRs so i have pulled them together onto one disc. There is a lot more here but it will take a long time to sort through it all and as I haven't really paid any attention to my Hendrix collection for the past four years I'm not sure where everything is.
There isn't really a theme for these outtakes except that they are all from the Experience and range from '67 to '69. Tracks 5-8 are known as the Sound Centre tracks and have always sounded quite bassy, these are 2nd gen. The Rainy Day material is probably 3rd gen.
I've tried to provide some location and date references but my information is slightly out of date and newer, more reliable facts may have come to light since I last listened to this material.
