This is most certainly the best sounding live recording of Jimi in september of 1969. A great show and a pity only two songs were recorded.

then again:

WARNING - This tape is the single worst recording of anything I've ever heard. Period. Worse than 6/10/70. Worse than that section of the Detroit '68 tape where the guy recorded Red House then rewound (with no flying erase heads) and recorded Voodoo Chile on top of it. More headache-inducing than Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music. I seriously wonder what combination of factors causes the tape to sound so terrible, because it's SO bad. The worst part is, if you listen real closely, behind the chaotic wall of noise, you can hear hints that Jimi's putting forth quite a show.
