The Damned 20th March 1977
Locarno Ballroom, Portsmouth, UK
I recorded this show myself, and the whatchamacallit is -
my original master, (Sony chrome cassette), played in Sony Pro Walkman, via hi-fi lead > Nero Wave Editor > save as FLAC/FLA (level 8) > you.
I was on the balcony that night, with my stereo recorder, and the tape sounds just fine to me - or at least, it sounds exactly like the Damned, who I saw lotsa times.
This was the tour where they supported Marc Bolan, their first excursion after the Anarchy tour (if memory serves..). This was the last date on the tour.

OK, slightly odd-looking tracklist - I accidentally cut "I Feel Sick" into 2 because it looked like 2 tracks in the wave editor. If you play it/burn it as continuous, (no 2-second gap), no problem.
Two entries for "New Rose" as they messed the song up first time, so they did it again.
Some of the tracks are very hard to separate, or just aren't separate, so I haven't chopped it up. I don't see any great need to chop up a 27-minute set, anyway! (discuss..)
My Nero saves FLAC files as ".FLA", which has given some downloaders extra work to do, to listen to it in their WinAmp or whatever. So, I tried doing SHNs in Nero, and it really messes that up - I won't bore you - so anyway, you should be able to burn to CD with no trouble, then listen to that!
