Taped through the air from a wireless ALD (assisted listening device) that was provided by the venue. For those who have never used one, Telex ALDs are extremely sensitive and are prone to signal loss and interference. This recording was no exception. Thankfully the glitches were limited--only "Don't Dream It's Over", "Something So Strong" and "Pineapple Head" suffered serious glitches during the recording.u
This is still early in the tour and the band is obviously still working out the kinks (some bum notes, wrong lyrics, miscues, etc.) Neil had a cold that day and it shows on some songs. He has trouble hitting some of the high notes and some of the songs are a little ragged. That being said, some of the songs are outstanding--Locked Out, Heaven That I'm Making, Recurring Dream, Silent House. Also, the mix through the ALD picked up a lot of Neil's mic between songs so you can hear him calling out songs to the band, talking to the on-stage roadie, etc.
