Blues Masters Volume 03 - Texas Blues

The best that the Lone Star state has had to offer over a 60 year period is right here, from Blind Lemon Jefferson's "Match Box Blues" (1927 ) to Stevie Ray Vaughn's live version of "Flood Down In Texas (Texas Flood)" from 1986. This compilation also features great sides by The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Lightnin' Hopkins, T-Bone Walker, and Albert Collins. As a introduction to the Texas blues style, this is a pretty darn good one.Son House, Tampa Red, and Johnny Winter, with the expected expert liner notes by Cub Koda.
