Notes

Overlooking the omission of what was, at that time, the most adventurous number in the Stones' canon, the elongated jam which was "Goin' Home," Ear Candy comprises a gorgeous true stereo mix of two key albums, which is vastly superior to any official version fans have ever heard. Taken from clean, original German vinyl pressings of Between the Buttons and Aftermath, the separation — particularly the percussion and all those esoteric little twiddly bits they used to hide in the mix — is superlative, and the only real question is: how come Germany alone got all the special mixes?
