audience

An average quality audience recording with an incredible setlist. It's one of the few shows where Elliott played Tomorrow, Tomorrow. He played it live fewer than 20 times, and never after 1998. He said he forgot how to play it (which seemed to be shorthand for "I don't want to play that song anymore"). This show also has one of the few perfomances of a solo acoustic Sweet Adeline that I have ever heard of. It was a common song in full band setlists on both the full band XO and Figure 8 tours, but alas, didn't carry over into his solo acoustic sets too often. Also of interest is Happiness, which was recorded for XO but didn't make the album cut. At this point it was still being called "Toms Start" on setlists and the like. The title of the song didn't begin appearing on setlists as Happiness until late 1999 (10/14/99 is the earliest setlist with this song title I know of at this time). Track 12 contains a little acoustic Amity tease, the only recording I know of where Elliott played any part of Amity acoustic.
