"More of a collectors item than a classic recording. It's worth having this just for the historical interest. Some people don't realise that Jimi started his career as a backing artist and was never really allowed to develope his own style until he went solo. The first disc makes me smile, Little Richard is taking centre stage while Jimi is doing his thing in the background, you can just feel he wants to let rip. All-in-all worth a listen."
