This is probably one of the most mislabeled gigs out there and unfortunately this confusion comes from the mix up in the otherwise excellent Lee Wood book, Day by Day. The setlists for April 3rd & April 23rd Nashville rooms gigs are backwards in the book. The easiest way to tell is on one tape “Pretty Vacant” (23rd) falls apart due to the fight and one doesn’t. Overall this gig is a great one because it is early enough to feature some of the cover versions that would soon be dropped from the setlist most notably “Understanding” and ‘Whatcha Gonna Do About It”. The version on Savage Young Pistols features a near complete version of the gig sans the reprise of “Did You No Wrong”, however they mislabel “Problems” & "Understanding” as coming from the later two Nashville rooms gigs (probably to make the CD seem more collectible) when in fact they come from this gigs tape.
