working copy tape - this rough mix features bowie on backing vocals
and can also be heard instructing the band on chord sequences ect ..
the album was eventually released in 1995 with 90% of bowie removed
from the final mixes.
I know that "I Am A Laser" later became "Scream Like A Baby" on the Scary Monsters album and the removed track "I Am Divine" would later become "Somebody Up There Likes Me" on the Young Americans album. No Bowie doesn't sing lead vocals on this - only backing - but on this rough mix you can actually hear Bowie's guide vocals on some tracks.
Another interesting song is "Seven Days" written by Annette Peacock. This was covered by Mick Ronson on the b-side to one of his RCA first singles.
