Notes

MARCH 1974

audience recording

Angus Young (guitar)
Malcolm Young (guitar)
Dave Evans (vocals)
Neil Smith (bass)
Noel Tylor (drums)

This is the earliest known recording of AC/DC doing a gig in March 1974 in Sydney (exact date unknown)
just a few weeks after forming the band and playing their first live set at Chequers Club in Sydney
on New Years Eve 1973/74. At the time the boys were playing four nights a weeks at Hampton Court Hotel.

The recording comes from Dave Evans archives and there was a double vinyl released a few weeks ago called IN THE BEGINNING (Vol. 1 & 2) which is limited to 200 copies.

This here is not a copy of the vinyl but a direct copy of Dave Evans tape.

It is just what it is - a poor quality document of the very early days of the band.
