source: very good audience recording, shall say excellent for this vintage, digitally copied from the bootleg named as the venue. This bootleg is sold on Ebay once in a while (see one of these past auctions at: http://cgi.ebay.com/Johnny-Winter-And-Kinetic-Circus-1971-RARE_W0QQitemZ250092229597QQcategoryZ307QQcmdZViewItem). You can see the front cover at: http://www.johnnywinter.jp/disco/kinetic.html . It has an horrible mastering (I mean the tranfer from analog tape to digital), with some cuts with blanck spaces, many songs with fade in & out, wrong index tracks, high volume level variations, etc. I HAD TO remaster it to fix many of these problems, making it a more enjoyable listening. As always, I've used Adobe Audition 2.0 to do it.

[on a side note of "horrible mastering" bootlegs, there is another one that is a strong contender for the worst ever mastering, also sold almost every week on Ebay, the bootleg called "The Last Of The Firebird Days"(look at http://www.yee.ch/winter/Disco2/winter_disco2_wolfgangs.htm), with all the troubles of the bootleg of this torrent. Does anybody have a tape copy - even from a high generation one - from the master tape, not from the bootleg cd? I'd love to get it]

Next week I'll continue with a '73 recording and a '74 & '75 after that. I'll choose a recording that I've never seen uploaded over here instead of reseeding and old torrent. Therefore, it's my main criterion to choose a recording.

Please be patient, my bandwidth is very limited. Another JW torrent upon requests from my list. Audio ONLY please, no DVDs for while.
